There's also an ab routine in the portal that you can use each day that takes no more then 8 minutes. Also, the portal that you get access to is easy to use and lays everything out for you. I think what I really like about AthleanX is that it gives me motivation it's not boring my endurance has gone through the roof and I look pretty good now for a 51 year old guy. I could've probably made great progress by following a routine from the r/fitness wiki. AX-1 has challenges as benchmarks at the end of each month that are brutal, challenging, and rewarding when conquered. Each day is laid out for you with videos of Jeff showing you how to do each exercise and encouraging you along the way. I've made more gains this past year then the years prior. Honestly, the best investment in my fitness that I've ever made. It wasn't something I needed, but after reading a few reviews and watching before/after videos and testimonials, I bought AX-1. I was reluctant to purchase one his programs. I've followed Jeff on YT for a few years and learned so much from him. The great thing about the wiki programs is that they're free. With intensity and consistency, you will see progress from any program. I made great gains following a PPL routine from that wiki. IMO, the only thing good about that sub is the wiki. R/fitness has no problem with someone hiring a qualified PT, but god forbid you purchase a program.
